  4. 30 g rice flour

  7. 1 pinch salt
  8. as required Few kishmish
  9. as required Few cashewnuts
  10. as required Few chopped almonds
  11. as needed Apple and pear slices for decoration
  12. 1/2 tsp fruit essence
  13. as required Few pumpkin seeds for garnish

Instructions to make to make Saffron rice flour custard

  1. Take a heavy bottom pan, boil milk. Add essence and then sugar.
  2. Add salt and mix. Let the sugar dissolve. Next add the saffron soaked in milk.
  3. Mix. Keep the flame slow. Add kishmish.
  4. Add cashews and chopped almonds.
    Mix all and let it be on slow flame.
    Next take a small bowl put milk at room temperature.
    Add rice flour and mix.
  5. Make a lump free slurry. Add this slurry to the saffron milk and continuously mix. Keep the flame slow.
  6. Gradually the rice flour custard starts thickening. Stir and let it get cooked at slow flame. Add milk to adjust consistency. As rice flour's rawness is lost...you know it's ready...
    Transfer it into serving dishes and chill it.
