Allow the steamer to boil and place in all the folded banana leaves in the steamer / idly pot on medium flame. This will take 12 to 15 minutes to cook. You can make it in one batch or two batches depending on the steamer size.
  7. Let the "Vazhayila Ada" cool and then it is ready to be served.
