  1. 1 lt Milk (full cream)-
  2. 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  3. 1/2 cup Jaggery -(powdered) -
  4. 1/2 tsp Rice flour
  5. 1 tsp Cardamom powder
  6. 1/4 tsp Baking soda
  7. 1 tsp Chopped dry fruits and raisins-
  8. 1 tbsp Milk

Instructions to make to make Chenna poda

  1. Boil milk and add lemon juice to make chena.Strain and wash this chena in water and squeeze lightly.
  2. Now knead it with your palm until it becomes soft and fluffy.Add jaggery powder,rice flour, cardamom powder and baking soda.Mix it again for 3-4 min.Add 1 tb.spoon.milk and mix it well.Mix dry fruits and raisins.
  3. Grease your baking pan and line it with parchment paper or butter paper.
  4. Preheat your oven at 180 degree for 15 min.
  5. Pour the chena mixture into the prepared baking pan.
  6. Bake it for 25 to 30 min. at 180 degree.
  7. You will see lovely brown colour on the top.To know chena poda is ready or not,prick it with a knife and if it is clean,it means your chena poda is ready.
  8. Let it cool for 7-8 min.and then demould it.Cut into desired shape and serve.
